Abstract

Abstract in english: | Modern digital printing has its goal to be as much diverse in selection of printable media. It allows us to print on various materials that might not have been originally intended for this application. Wider range of materials used in broad application, obligates us to better know interaction of materials and inks, and depending on properties determine the best application. In this thesis we will try to determine the interaction of the smoothness/ roughness of paper and rub and abrasion resistance. The materials used in experiment are very well known and widely used. The samples were printed on three different, fairly new inks formulation used in digital printing techniques. Inks used in experiment differ in their application, binding to the surface and especially drying method. Test results will show us weather these digital printing techniques and its ink formulations are successful final products or just an evolutionary stage in the digital process. |
