Abstract
U grafičkoj industriji bitna je mogućnost analize interakcije bojila i podloge, trajnosti otisaka, te starenja papira. U industriji papira traži se on-line kontrola kvalitete tijekom proizvodnje, karakterizacija aditiva i kontaminanata u papiru i pulpi, karakterizacija lignoceluloznih materijala i proučavanje karakteristika pulpe. Za sve te zahtjeve kao najbolji izbor od 1980-ih nametnula se spektroskopija u infracrvenom dijelu spektra. Uz mnoge prednosti pred drugim metodama analize, posebno se ističe visokom rezolucijom snimljenog spektra i kratkim vremenom snimanja. Napredak tehnologije i računala kao bitnog dijela FTIR uređaja te prednosti čini još značajnijima. Cilj rada je pokazati prednosti IR spektroskopije općenito, a posebno na području proizvodnje papira, grafičke reprodukcije, te kvalitete kontrole grafičkih proizvoda. Brzina snimanja, kvaliteta rezultata i širina primjene IR spektroskopiju čine vrhunskom analitičkom metodom.

Abstract in english: | Ability to analize ink and substrate interaction, print durability and paper aging is very important in printing industry. In pulp and paper industry on-line quality control, additive and contaminant characterization, characterization of lignocellulose materials and study of pulp attributes is in high demand. Since the 1980s, infrared spectroscopy is the best choice for all those applications. Among a number of advantages over other analytical methods, very high spectra resolution and short sampling times stand out. Advances in technology and computer science, essential components of FTIR devices, make these advantages even more significant. Goal of this paper is to show the advantages of infrared spectroscopy in general, with special focus on paper production, graphic reproduction, and quality control. Sampling speed, quality and broad range of application make infrared spectroscopy one of the best analytical methods. |
