Abstract

Kamera opskura (lat. „camera“ = „soba“; „obscura“ = „tamna“) pramajka je i preteča suvremene fotografije i filma, a ta činjenica dovoljna je za odreĎeno buĎenje znatiţelje i početak proučavanja njene problematike. Pored svih posebnosti, vrlina i kompleksnosti koje u sebi nosi (kontinuirana dubinska oštrina, kompresija vremena, nedeformirana planarna perspektivna projekcija pri vrlo širokim kutevima snimanja, beskonačne mogućnosti formiranja oblikovanja same kamere, objektiva i zaslona, 100%-tna propusnost svjetlosnog spektra svih frekvencija elektromagnetnog zračenja), kamera opskura neiscrpan je i u krajnju ruku vrlo jednostavan predmet koji uspijeva zaigrati, kako maštu i kreaciju odraslih, tako i same djece. Da bi se što lakše spoznalo i baratalo beskonačnim igrarijama koje digitalna fotografija 21. stoljeća nudi, gotovo je nuţno upoznati se s prvotnim idejama hvatanja svjetlosnih zraka na odreĎenu materiju, a koje kamera opskura savršeno jasno pojašnjava. Fotografija je umjetnost risanja svjetlom, te kao i kod ostalih grana umjetnosti, nuţno je savladati tehničku osnovu materije (kroz povijest unapreĎivanu i često mijenjanu) da bi se dosegao odreĎeni stupanj vlastitog umjetničkog izraza, te na kraju krajeva osjetilo odreĎeno zadovoljstvo koje potpiruje maštu te gura kreaciju prema naprijed.

Abstract in english:	The pinhole camera (Latin "camera" = "room", "obscura" = "dark") is the mother and the forerunner of modern photography and film; that fact is sufficient reason for a certain revival of curiosity and a beginning of systematic studying of it's problems. In addition to all the features, a virtue and complexity that bears (continuous depth of field, the compression of time, undistorted planar perspective projection with a very wide recording angles, forming infinite possibilities of shaping the camera eyepiece and screen, 100% permeability of all electromagnetic radiation spectrum frequencies), pinhole camera is inexhaustible, and in the very least a very simple item that manages to play with the imagination and creation of adults and children themselves. If we want more easily to perceive and handle the endless fiddling around us that digital photography 21st centuries offers, it's almost necessarily to be familiar with the original idea of capturing light rays on a particular matter, and what pinhole camera perfectly explains. Photography is the art of drawing with light, and, as with other branches of art, it is necessary to overcome the technical basis of matter (throughout history often changed and updated) to reach a certain level of our own artistic expression, and in the end feel a certain satisfaction that feeds our imagination and pushes the creation forward.
