Abstract

Abstract in english: | Subject of this final paper is a simulation of tilt-shift effect, an effect that is realized due to small depth of field. When shooting a photograph of specific scene, such as miniature models, objects that are at the same distance from the camera will be equally blurred while using tilt-shift lens that blur will be linear. Through theoretical part the concept is explained and introduced in the topic, in the simplest way, for better understanding of the practical part. Using authentic photographs popular effect is simulated and the possibilities that image editing software offers are explored. Although tilt-shift may be considered a trend, the fact is that this kind of photography has been present from the very beginning of photography. Since nowadays digital photography is increasingly being used by different applications for digital image processing in order to achieve the desired effects, purpose of this paper is to explore possibilities of tilt-shift effect in image processing, and to achieve the best expressiveness and efficiency of content presentation through various simulations. |
