Abstract

Završni rad obrađuje stilsko razdoblje nadrealizma u fotografiji čije su vremenske granice okvirno postavljene između dva svjetska rata. Na samom početku prikazane su povijesne okolnosti i kretanja u društvu koji su doveli do nastanka nadrealizma. Istaknut je utjecaj nadrealizma na ostale umjetnosti: slikarstvo, kiparstvo, arhitekturu, film, književnost te su predstavljene njegove stilske karakteristike i glavni predstavnici. Nakon toga tema se sužava isključivo na fotografiju prikazujući isprva više smjerova u fotografiji toga razdoblja. Krajnji naglasak je na fotografiji nadrealizma, ne samo na njegovim glavnim predstavnicima i odlikama njihova stila već i tehnikama koje su prevladavale. Praktični dio ovoga rada napravljen je s ciljem primjene i kombinacije nadrealističkih tehnika opisujući sam postupak izrade, ciljeve i prikaz dobivenih rezultata.

Abstract in english:	This paper will cover the Surrealist movement in photography that took place between the two World Wars. At the very beginning, it will look into the historical and social circumstances that caused the appearance of Surrealism. It will point out the influence that Surrealism had on the other arts: painting, sculpture, architecture, film and literature, as well as present its stylistic characteristics and key figures. After that, it will narrow down to photography, at first representing various styles in photography at that time period. The final accent will be on the Surrealist photography, not only representing its main figures and their style, but also the techniques they used. The practical part of the paper will display the ways of use and combining the Surrealist techniques, describing the creative process, the goals that were set and results achieved.
