Abstract

Abstract in english: | The current standards for the process control of graphic production proscribe the target values and the tolerance of particular parameters of the process. When the manufacturer and customer agree that the manufacturer will adhere to the standards, they only determine what the product should be like. Given that mistakes occur in every production process, a certain number of units produced in the process will not be consistent with the standard. The acceptable portion of defective units depends on the agreement between the manufacturer and customer and is not proscribed by the standards. Moreover, the standard does not even prescribe the method for collecting the data. It determines the target values and the tolerance parameters and insists on their equality in the print zones, allowing certain deviation. Because the method for collecting the data is not prescribed, it is not possible to unequivocally determine if the process is centred and the amount of dissipation in the process. In other words, it is not possible to express the process capability. Therefore, it is only possible to determine if the observed unit is compliant to the standard, but it is not possible to unequivocally determine the proportion of units that come out of a process which are compliant with the standard. Different ways of collecting data and their influence on rating the process capability will be studied in this paper. |
