Abstract

U teorijskom dijelu ovog rada biti će opisane dvije tehnike digitalnog tiska, elektrofotografija i Ink Jet, te papir kao tiskovna podloga, koja se najčešće koristi u grafičkoj tehnologiji. U eksperimentalnom dijelu rada istraživati će se kvaliteta tiska elektrofotografske i Ink Jet tehnike otiskivanja na različitim tiskovnim podlogama. Otiskivanje eksperimentalnih uzoraka napravljeno je sa pisačima Xerox DocuColor 250 (elektrofotografija) i Canon Pixma iP4300 (Ink Jet) na četiri vrste papira (papir Navigator Colour Documents; 120g/m², papir Color Copy; 100g/m², foto-sjajni papir; 215g/m² i foto-mat papir; 180g/m²). Na otiscima su izvršena mjerenja sa spektrofotometrom X-Rite SwatchBook. Izmjerene i proračunate vrijednosti prikazane su grafovima (gustoća obojenja (D) i prirast rastertonske vrijednosti (DG%)) i histogramima (relativni tiskovni kontrast (Krel.)). Istraživanjem je utvrđeno da kvaliteta tiska ovisi o kombinaciji tiskovne podloge i pisača.

Abstract in english: The theoretical part of this thesis shows two digital printing techniques, electrophotography and Ink Jet technique, with paper as a printing substrate, most commonly used in graphic technology. The experimental part of the thesis researches the printing quality of the electrophotographic and Ink Jet techniques on different printing substrates. Printers Xerox DocuColor 250 (electrophotography) and Canon Pixma iP4300 (Ink Jet) are used for the printing of experimental samples on four different types of paper (paper Navigator Colour Documents; 120g/m², paper Color Copy; 100g/m², glossy photo paper; 215g/m² and matte photo paper; 180g/m²). The printings are measured with the X-Rite SwatchBook spectrophotometer. The measured and calculated values are shown in graphs (color density (D) and dot gain (DG%)) and histograms (relative printing contrast (Krel.)). The research shows that the quality of printing depends on the combination of a printing substrate and a printer.
