Abstract

Ovaj završni rad obraĎuje tehniku rastera i nove načine kojima se višetonske slike pretvaraju u jednotonske. Istražit će se karakteristike različitih vrsta rastriranja te područja primjene pojedinih tipova rastera. Težište istraživanja biti će u problematici rastera i komparaciji glavnih metoda (amplitudno moduliranih, frekventno moduliranih i hibridnih rastera). Analizirat će se prednosti, ali i nedostaci rasterskih tehnika u odnosu jedne na drugu. Cilj rada je rješavanje problematike rastera i upotreba novih metoda poput hibridnog rastera. Kombinacijom dviju različitih metoda u jednu gdje smo ugradili sve prednosti od obje metode, moguće je eliminirali slabosti s ciljem povećanja kvalitete grafičke reprodukcije.

Abstract in english:	This final project discusses the tehnique of raster graphics and new ways of converting a photo. We will investigate the characteristics of different types of raster graphics and scope of certain types of screening. The research will be based on the issue of raster graphics and comparison of the major methods (amplitude modulated, frequency modulated raster and hybrid). We will analyze the advantages and disadvantages of raster techniques in relation to one another. The aim is to solve the problems related to raster grid and use new methods such as hybrid raster. By combining two different methods into one where we've used all the advantages of both methods, it is possible to eliminate weaknesses in order to increase the quality of graphic reproduction.
