Abstract

Abstract in english: | Total ink limit in offset printing is defi ned in prepress as one of the parameters of the screening process. The quality of the ink drying process depends on the total ink limit and types of ink and printing surface. For some printing surfaces and printing techniques there are limitations in total ink limit. For quality print it is important that the amount of ink is optimal for a given printing surface and the printing technique. Attrition resistance of the dried impression depends mainly on the printing surface and printing technique, but also on the total ink limit. |
