Abstract

Abstract in english: With the appearance and increasing usage of modern technologies, wide market was opened up for sale and distribution of the magazines. They are no longer just a print medium, they are becoming multimedial and electronic, from which user wants greater interactivity and accessibility. Smart phones and tablet computers have proved to be fertile ground for a new form of thematic magazine - users can access them anywhere and browse whenever they feel like it. An electronic version takes advantage of all the benefits of modern technology, and integrates multimedia, interactivity and dynamics. This thesis investigates the parameters that influence the selection of magazines, as well as the ratios and how the print magazines kept precedence over electronic. Based on the results of the survey, which was carried out through social networks on a sample of 110 people, accumulated results give insight into the behavior when buying and reading themed magazines, as well as preferences regarding print and electronic editons. At the end of the study, there will be given guidelines on the movement of printed and electronic magazines in several age groups, qualifications and preferences.
