Abstract
Reporterska fotografija je grana fotografije koja je zastupljena od početka razvoja prvih fotoaparata. Razvijala se vrlo brzo, a usporedo sa njom razvijala se i tehnologija u svijetu. U radu se istražuje život i stvaralaštvo Roberta Cape te njegov utjecaj na reportersku fotografiju današnjice. U teoretskom djelu prikazan je razvoj fotografije i nastanka fotoreporterstva, osnivanje samostalnih foto agencija te biografija Roberta Cape i njegova najznačajnija djelovanja. Robert Capa je uzet kao tema rada radi svoje društvene važnosti u svojem vremenu, činjenice da je i danas najpoznatiji svjetski ratni fotograf. Svojim pristupom fotoreportaži stvorio temelje na kojima izrastaju generacije, ali i današnji svjetski značajni fotoreporteri. U praktičnom dijelu rada istražen je utjecaj Roberta Cape na modernu fotoreportersku fotografiju kroz analizu nekih od njegovih najznačajnijih fotografija te je napravljena usporedba njega i dvoje značajnih svjetski priznatih fotoreportera današnjice.

Abstract in english: | Photojournalism is a field of photography which has been present since the first days of photography. It has had a fast growth alongside the development of technology in the world. The focus of this paper is on the life and work of Robert Capa, as well as his influence on today’s photojournalism. In the first part this paper presents the development of photography and the beginnings of photojournalism, the founding of independent photo agencies, the biography of Robert Capa, as well as his most important achievements. Robert Capa has been taken as the main theme of this paper due to the social significance he held in his own time, as well as to the fact that he has remained the most famous war photographer to this day. With his approach he has set the foundations for other generations and so also for some of today’s most important photojournalists worldwide. In the second part the paper explores the influence of Robert Capa on modern photojournalism through an analysis of some of his most important photographs, as well as through a comparison of his work with that of two other world renowned photojournalists of today. |
