Abstract

U ovom diplomskom radusu iznesena osnovna svojstva i načela rada RFID sustava (eng. „Radio Frequency Identification“) kao i značajke nekonvencionalne tehnike izrade dijelova RFID transpondera otiskivanjem. RFID sustav je napredan sustav za identifikaciju i praćenje proizvoda. Sastoji se od triju glavnih dijelova: RFID transpondera, RFID čitača te računala za obradu podataka. U eksperimentalnom dijelu rada simuliran je rad UHF RFID transpondera otisnutog elektrovodljivom bojom. Cilj istraživanja je usporedba svojstava koja antena iskazuje otiskivanjem na trima tiskovnim podlogama koje se razlikuju po odstupanjima u deformaciji, odnosno stupnju hrapavosti. Simulacije su izvedene u programu MatLabpomoću MatLab dodatka koji za simulaciju antena koristi metodu momenta. Prema dobivenim vrijednostima dobitka antena daljinskog polja, da se zaključiti da se vrijednosti elektromagnetskog zračenja triju simuliranih antena ne mijenjaju promjenom hrapavosti tiskovne podloge. Vrijednosti blizinskog polja ukazuju na ovisnost svojstava antena o deformaciji tiskovne podloge. Najveće vrijednosti električnog polja, magnetskog polja te gustoće struje daje antena koja je simulirana na površini jako velike deformacije koja iznosi do 0,5 mm. Iz toga se da zaključiti da se otiskivanjem na tiskovnoj podlozi raznih iznosa deformacija mogu promijeniti blizinska svojstva antene koja utječu na udaljenost očitanja pomoću čitača.

Abstract in english: In this master thesis basic properties and the principle of RFID system (Radio Frequency Identification) working is presented. Also,the main properties of an unconventional method of production of RFID transponder parts via printing technology are presented. RFID system is an advanced system for identification and tracking of products. It consists of three main parts: RFID transponder, RFID reader and the computer for processing the data collected by the reader. In the experimental part of master thesis, work of an UHF RFID transponder printed with electro conductive ink is simulated. The goal of the experiment is to compare properties which the antennas, printed on the substrates with various deformation levels, are showing. Simulations have been made in MatLab software by using the MatLab toolbox which uses method of moments for antenna simulation. The results for antenna gain in the far field are showing that values of electromagnetic fields are not changing with printing substrate deformation. Values of near field properties are showing that near field antenna properties depend on printing substrate deformation. The maximum values of electric field, magnetic field and electric current density are given by antenna simulated on the printing substrate with a large deformation (up to 0,5 mm). The conclusion is that printing on substrates with various deformation levels affects near field antenna properties which are important for antenna reading range.
