Abstract

Cilj ovog završnog rada je proučiti prostore boja. Proučavaju se počeci objektivnog definiranja boja te njihov smještaj u određeni prostor boja. Razmatraju se osnovni CIE standardi i CIE prostori boja. Proučava se evolucija CIE prostora boja u dvadesetom stoljeću prema uniformnim prostorima boja. Proučavaju se RGB i CMYK prostori boja. Proučavaju se transformacije vrijednosti jednog prostora boja u drugi pomoću matematičkih jednadžbi. Razmatraju se prednosti i nedostaci pojedinog prostora boja. Proučava se način određivanja ukupne razlike između boja unutar određenog prostora. Razmatra se uloga prostora boja unutar sustava za upravljanje bojom.

Abstract in english:	The goal of this baccalaureus work is to study color spaces. This work researches the beginnings of objective color definitions and their positioning in specific color spaces. It also considers the main CIE standards, CIE color spaces and studies their 20th century evolution towards uniform color spaces. It studies CMYK and some of RGB color spaces. Transformations from one color space to another by means of mathematical equations are examined. The work considers advantages and shortcomings of different color spaces. Ways of determining difference between colors are studied. Role of color spaces in color management systems is considered.
