Abstract

Boje, one nas okružuju, a ima ih toliko da je nemoguće za svaku od njih odabrati prikladan naziv. Stoga se boje određuju obilježjima poput tona, svjetline i zasićenja. Radi lakšeg prikaza boja u prostoru i njihovog mjerenja, CIE komisija standardizirala je različite sustave za prikaz boja te različite standarde u mjerenjima boja. U ovom radu korišten je CIELAB sustav za prikaz boja, a mjerenja se temelje na vizualnoj procjeni i instrumentalnom mjerenju. Razlike između dvije boje mogu se numerički jednostavno prikazati pomoću prikladnih formula u odabranom sustavu. U ovom slučaju CIELAB sustava za ukupnu razliku između boja korištena je formula ΔE*94. Cilj je ovog rada prikazati razlike između izrađenih uzoraka i standarda, koji su vizualno slični, ali različitih kromatskih vrijednosti. Provedbom i prikazom odnosa vizualne procjene (princip pad/prolaz) i instrumentalnog mjerenja konkretno se određuje područje tolerancije za promatrača u kojem on ne primjećuje razlike u nijansi između uzorka i standarda.

Abstract in english: Colors, they are all around us and there are so many of them that it is impossible for each of them to choose an appropriate name. That is why colors are determined by hue, lightness and saturation. To ease color description in space and its measurement, CIE committee has standardized different color spaces and standards used in measurement. In this paperwork CIELAB color space was used and measurement was based on visual evaluation and instrumental measure. Difference between two colors can be presented by numeric value using appropriate equations of chosen color space. In this case it is CIELAB space and for total color difference ΔE*94 equation was used. The aim of this paperwork is to show the differences between created samples and standard that are visually similar but their chromatic values are different. Tolerance range of viewer in which he does not notice color differences between samples and standard is defined by application and presentation of relationship between visual evaluation (pass/fall principle) and instrumental measurement.
