Abstract
Cilj rada je primarno stvaranje zadovoljavajućih dizajnerskih rješenja za zadani grafički proizvod korištenjem slikarsko-grafičkih tehnika. Zatim, prikupljanje reakcija na dobiven proizvod te informacija o interesu ciljane publike za osmišljen projekt. Taj projekt uključuje originalne naslovnice koje bi za mlade glazbenike stvarali mladi likovni umjetnici. Interes ciljane publike postoji, kao i određene organizacije koje su sposobne provesti projekt. Projekt je održiv na temelju čega se zaključuje da slikarsko-grafičke tehnike mogu biti iskorištene u dizajnu za komercijalni tisak naslovnice nosača zvuka. Rad je podijeljen u dva dijela: praktični rad izveden kombiniranjem slikarsko-grafičkih tehnika i ručne dorade, diskusija nastalim rješenjima te istraživanje i anketiranje ciljane publike. Dizajnerska rješenja trebaju zadovoljiti potrebe modernog tržišta. Trebaju biti estetski privlačna i sasvim funkcionalna. Iz razgovora sa ciljanom publikom potvrđuje se da jesu. U sklopu ankete ispitanicima su ponuđene grafike otisnute različitim tehnikama, ali s istim motivom. Anketa ispituje za koju od ponuđenih grafičkih tehnika postoji najveći interes. Rezultati pokazuju da je to akvatinta. Anketom se također dobivaju informacije o interesu za osmišljen projekt.

Abstract in english: | The primary goal of this theses is creating quality design solutions for CD covers with the combined use of graphical and painting techniques. Other goals are gathering the reactions to the final products and information about the interest of specifically defined public (young adults) for the imagined project. That project includes original covers done by young artists for young musicians. Interest of the defined public exists, as well as the organisations capable of turning the project into reality. The project being viable, it is concluded that graphical and painting techniques can be used in design for the commercial product – CD cover. The thesis is divided into two parts: practical work done by combining graphical and painting techniques and the following discussion. The second part is research of specifically defined public and questionnaire. The design solutions should be able to fulfil the demands of the modern market. They should be both aesthetically pleasing and functional. The opinion of examinees confirms that they are. The questionnaire consists of questions accompanied by three graphics done by the use of different graphical techniques presenting the same motive. One of the important findings of the questionnaire was that aquatint is the most attractive graphical technique to the examinees. The questionnaire also provides the understanding of interest for previously described project. |
