Abstract

GIF (Graphics Interchange Format) jedan je od najstarijih formata računalne pohrane slika koji se još uvijek aktivno i rašireno koristi. Njegova je posebnost što može pohraniti i animaciju. Animirani GIF koristi se zbog male veličine datoteke te konzistentnosti prikaza na raznim platformama. 3D prikaz postaje sve rašireniji (kina, TV ureĎaji) te se pojavljuju iskorištavanja optičkih iluzija kako bi se 3D dojam pojavio i na 2D ureĎajima, što je dovelo do pojave 3D GIF animacija. Kako je u mehaničkim simulacijama ključna upravo percepcija odnosa u 3D, postoji potreba za ispitivanjem primjenjivosti 3D GIF-ova kao platforme za takav prikaz. Adobe Photoshop ima, kako se reklamira, „...bogat skup alata za izradu i ureĎivanje 3D slika i analizu slika, te je idealan za video profesionalce, korisnike koji dizajniraju sadržaj za različite medije, web-dizajnere, dizajnere interaktivnih sadržaja, znanstvenike...". U ovome radu bit će opisane najvažnije mogućnosti Photoshopa u 3D grafici, kao samostalnog te pomoćnog alata prilikom rada u standardnim 3D programima 2D animacija koje primjenom efekata daju 3D dojam, te način izrade 3D GIF animacija. TakoĎer će biti obraĎene preuzete AVI datoteke uz nastojanje samostalne reprodukcije u Photoshopu, ili ako se to pokaže nemogućim, konvertiranjem u GIF. Rezultat će, osim izrade samih animacija, biti komparativna tablica GIF i AVI datoteka identičnih/sličnih animacija u smislu usporedbe veličine datoteka, kvalitete i primjenljivosti.

Abstract in english: GIF (Graphics Interchange Format) is one of the oldest formats of computer storage files that is still active and in widely use. One of his uniqueness is that it can store an animation. Animated GIF is in use for small file size format and for consistency of views on various platforms. 3D viewing is becoming more widespread (cinemas, TV sets), and as optical illusion appearing of 3D impression appeared on 2D devices which led to the emergence of 3D GIF animation. As in mechanical simulation key of the perception lies in relations on 3D, there is a need to examine the applicability of 3D GIFs as a platform for such a view. Adobe Photoshophas, as advertised, "... a rich set oftools for creating and editing 3D images and image analysis, and is ideal for video professionals, customers who design content for different media, web designers, interactive content, scientists... '. In this document it will be described important capabilities of Photoshop 3D graphics, as well as independent and auxiliary tool when working in standard 3D programs 2D animation that applying effects give the impression of 3D, this way of making 3D GIF animation. Also in this document will be remaking downloaded AVI animation in Photoshop, or if this proves to be impossible, converted to GIF. The result, in addition to making animation, will be a comparative table of GIF and AVI files identical/similar animation in terms of comparing file size, quality, and relevance.
