Abstract
Termin „digitalna fotomanipulacija“ uglavnom je drugi naziv za retuširanu fotografiju. Fotomanipulacija u širem smislu predstavlja kolaž sastavljen od mnoštva dijelova različitih fotografija. Izrezivanjem i spajanjem naizgled nespojivih elemenata dobiva se proizvod čiji je koncept ponekad nemoguće ostvariti isključivo putem fotografije. Fotomanipulacije se koriste u reklamama, časopisima, na naslovnicama knjiga, plakatima i web sučeljima. U teorijskom dijelu diplomskog rada definira se što je zapravo fotomanipulacija, njen nastanak i uporaba kroz povijest sve do danas. Sažimanjem prikupljenih podataka opisane su različite tehnike izrade jedne fotomanipulacije putem najčešće korištenog softvera, Adobe Photoshopa i tehnički zahtjevi koji ju čine kvalitetnom. Eksperimentalni dio temelji se na praktičnoj primjeni metoda opisanih u prethodnim poglavljima. Izrađuje se serija autorskih fotomanipulacija namijenjenih reprodukciji u tisku. One moraju ispunjavati određene tehničke uvjete i pridržavati se smjernica koje tvore vizualno privlačno i marketinški uspješno oglašavanje. Izrada obuhvaća izlaganje koncepta i hipoteza, snimanje vlastitog materijala, opis korištenih tehnika praćenih primjerima te u konačnici prikaz gotovog djela. Na kraju eksperimentalnog dijela provodi se istraživanje kako bi se doznalo koliko kreativnost utječe na doživljaj proizvoda i uspješnost marketinga.

Abstract in english: | Digital photo manipulation is generally another term for a retouched photograph. But in a broader sense, it represents a collage made up of various pieces of different images. By cutting and gluing together seemingly mismatched elements one can create a product that has a concept which sometimes cannot be achieved through simple photography. Photo manipulations are used in advertising, magazines, book covers, posters and web pages. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with defining what photo manipulation actually is, it's origin and the use throughout history up until today. By summarizing gathered information this thesis describes the techniques used to create a photo manipulation in Adobe Photoshop software and the technical requirements for a quality image. The practical part is based on utilizing various methods described in the previous chapters. It describes a process of creating an original series of photo manipulations for print reproduction. They must fulfill certain technical and creative terms that make up for visually appealing and successful marketing.The process entails a description of the concept and hypothesis, shooting needed material, the techniques used and a presentation of a finished product. The end of the practical part is reserved for advertising research and the analysis of the results. |
