Abstract

Abstract in english: Color quality of inkjet prints is directly related to the use of color and to the choice of printing substrate. To achieve better colorvision values of the prints, before printing the „optimizer“ has been added to regulate the surface tension of the printing substrate and better surface acceptance of the smallest droplets of the color. This final thesis will analyze the durability of Latex Inkjet color without using „optimizer“ and with „optimizer“ action and will determine the shelf life of such graphic applications. All existing prints will be compared to traditional solvent based ink in periods of 0 h, 6 h, 12 h, 24 h, 48 h,96 h, 144 h and 240 h. Experimental prints have been printed using three (3) different machines for inkjet printing (Roland VersaCamm VS+540i, HP Designjet L26500 and HP Latex 360). All printings have been done on a white Avery Multi Purpose Inkjet vinyl 3500 universal self-adhesive foil for external application and were artificial aged using UV light (lamp in the test chamber SolaBox 1500E). Full color differences will be detected by colorimetric method using a spectrophotometer X-Rite Exact. The results shows that among all the colors the highest durability has a print printed with Latex color of the third (III.) generation. There had been proven that „optimizer“ has an impact on the stability of the prints and that its application will improve the sustainability of future graphic products.
