Abstract

Fotografija je od samog početka do danas ostala najutjecajniji medij komunikacije. Zbog toga se fotografija koristi kao sredstvo prezentacije ljudi, ali i različitih proizvoda, ideja, mjesta... Kroz ovaj se diplomski rad autorski analizira i prezentira stara jezgra Šibenika kroz objektiv fotoaparata. Kako bi se ovo ostvarilo u teoretskom se dijelu rada analiziraju elementi koji su neophodni kako bi se fotografski predstavio grad – analiziraju se fotografske pretpostavke, pretpostavke fotografske sintakse, fotografske tehnike i objedinjeno, pristupa različitim fotografskim motivima kroz koje se u praktičnom dijelu rada analizira i predstavlja Šibenik. Kao glavni motivi praktičnog dijela rada uzimaju se mnogobrojni povijesni spomenici u gradu Šibeniku poput crkava, palača, uskih uličica, prolaza, itd. Naglasak je na dokumentarnu fotografiju jer je upravo ta grana fotografije dominantna u snimanju navedenih objekata. Kako bi ovo bilo moguće, uz teoretsku razradu fotografskih aspekata odabranog „fotografskog zadatka“ prikazuje se i „priča“ grada Šibenika kako bi autorske fotografije bile stavljene u kontekst kako autorskog rada tako i objektivnog prikaza. Prikazane se autorske fotografije analiziraju te se pokazuje kako je pristup motivu, kako kreativan tako i tehnički stvorio poruku o motivu i, u cjelini, gradu koji se predastavlja.

Abstract in english:	From the very beginning until the present day, the photography has remained the most influential medium of communication. Therefore, the photography is used as means of presentation of people as well as different products, ideas, places… Through this diploma paper, the author analyzes and presents the old nucleus of Šibenik through the camera lens. In order to achieve this, the elements that are essential for presenting the town through the photography are analyzed in the theoretical part of the paper-hypothetical photography, hypothetical photography syntax, photography techniques and also conjointly are approached different motives through which Šibenik is analyzed and presented in the practical part of the paper. Numerous historical monuments in Šibenik were taken as the main motives of the practical part of the paper, such as: churches, palaces, narrow streets, passages, etc. The emphasis is on the documentary photography since that branch of photography is dominant in shooting the above mentioned objects. In order to make this possible, the “story” of the town of Šibenik is presented with the theoretical elaboration of photographic aspects of a chosen “photography assignment” so that the photographs could be placed in the context of the author’s work as well as in the context of the objective presentation. The presented photographs are analyzed and as such they show how the motive approach, both creative and technical, created the message about the motive and the presented town as a whole.
