Abstract

Suvremena je ambalaža ona koju proizvodimo današnjim alatima, od suvremenih materijala, u skladu s funkcionalnim zadacima i zahvaljujući današnjim tehnološkim dostignućima u proizvodnje. Njene zadaće su zaštita proizvoda u svim aspektima, pri transportu i skladištenju, te prijenos informacija. Izbor materijala i kreiranje ambalaže u prvom redu ovisi o svojstvima materijala od kojeg je roba izrađena pri čemu treba voditi računa i o preporučenim uvjetima skladištenja kao što su temperatura, relativna vlažnost i djelovanje svjetla, pa se prema tome ambalaža prilagođava kombinacijom materijala. Suvremeni materijali za izradu ambalaže su papir, karton, metal, polimer, drvo, tekstil i višeslojni materijali (laminati). O izboru ambalažnog materijala ovisi i izbor tehnologije za proizvodnju ambalaže, izgled, oblik, namjena, način uporabe i cijena.

Abstract in english:	Contemporary packaging is produced with modern tools, from contemporary materials, in line with functional tasks and thanks to modern technological achievements in production. The tasks that the packaging must meet are product protection in all aspects, transportation and storage, and the transfer of information. The choice of materials and the creation of packaging depends in the first place on the properties of the material from which the goods are made. When choosing materials, recommended storage conditions such as temperature, relative humidity and light effects should be taken into account so that the packaging is adapted to the combination of materials. Contemporary materials for packaging are paper, cardboard, metal, polymer, wood, textile and multilayer materials (laminates). The choice of packaging material depends on the choice of packaging technology, appearance, shape, purpose, use and price.
