Abstract
Proces lijepljenja je najjednostavniji način spajanja dvaju ili više materijala te je jedan od osnovnih i najbitnijih procesa unutar grafičke industrije. S obzirom na različitost grafičkih proizvoda današnjice, na tržištu postoji cijeli niz adheziva s performansama koje su prilagoene skupinama proizvoda i načinu njihove izrade. Polivinil acetatno ljepilo (PVAc) karakteristično je za ručnu proizvodnju i proizvodnju malih naklada u završnim grafičkim doradnim procesima. Iako je velika zastupljenost PVAc adheziva unutar grafičke industrije neupitna, najčešće se koristi prilikom izvedbe bešavnih formi uveza, izrade višedijelnih tvrdih korica te pri proizvodnji krojenih kutija. Kako bi se osigurala ponovljivost procesa i omogućila konstantna kvaliteta gotovih proizvoda, potrebno se je osvrnuti i na osnovne procese ostvarivanja spoja koji se zasnivaju na međusobnim kemijskim i fizikalnim djelovanjima između molekula adheziva i molekula na površini za lijepljenje, kao što je adhezija. Kvaliteta adhezije ovisi o mnogo faktora, a najviše o karakteristikama adherenda i adheziva te njihovoj međusobnoj kompatibilnosti. U ovom radu proučavaju se adhezijska svojstva PVAc ljepila s dvije vrste papira. Nakon mjerenja kontaktnih kutova, izračuna slobodne površinske energije materijala i računanja rada adhezije, u PVAc ljepilo dodat će se različiti udio nanočestica (SiO2, TiO2) u svrhu poboljšanja adhezijska svojstva izmeĎu ispitivanih materijala te će se sva navedena ispitivanja ponoviti.

Abstract in english: | Bonding process is the most simple process for joining two or more materials which makes it one of the basic and most important process withing the graphics industry. Due to differences in today's graphics products there is a lot of different types of adhesives with characteristics suited for groups of products and the proces of ther product process on the market. Polyvinil acetate (PVAc) is characteristic for hand made manufacture and small production in the finishing stages of graphical process. Although the high representation of PVAc adhesives within the graphics industry is unquestioned, it is most commonly used for perfect binding books production, production of book hardcovers and hand-made boxes. In order to secure the repeatability of the proces and to provide the constant quality of the finished products it is vital to study the basic process of adhesion which rely on the mutual chemical and physical actions between the molecules of the adhesive and the molecules on the material. The qualty of the adhesion relies on multiple factors but mostly on the characteristics of the adhesive itself and the compatiblity with the adhered material. This paper will study the adhesive features of PVAc adhesives with two paper types. After the measurement of the contact angles, calculation of the free surface material energy and calculating the work of the adhesion, PVAc will be modified with nanoparticles in a certian amount in order improve the adhesion between the tested materials and such tests will be able to recreate. |
