Abstract

Za otpadni papir i kartonsku ambalažu, recikliranje je jedna od najpoželjnijih opcija kada se govori o njihovom zbrinjavanju kako bi se smanjio štetan učinak na okoliš, stoga je potrebno prilikom razvoja novih ambalažnih materijala, osim njihovih svojstava, ispitati i njihov učinak na okoliš. Biorazgradivi polimeri sve više nalaze svoju primjenu u ambalaži zbog manje štetnog učinka na okoliš u usporedbi sa sintetski polimerima, no ponekad su njihova mehanička svojstva slabija u odnosu na sintetske polimere. Da bi se poboljšala mehanička svojstava biopolimera u zadnje vrijeme sve se više koriste nanočestice. Stoga, u ovom radu istražen je utjecaj različitih gramatura recikliranog kartona i kartona s biorazgradivim polimernim premazom polikaprolaktonom (PCL) na mogućnost njegovog recikliranja. Također, istražen je utjecaj modificiranog premaza dodavanjem nanočestica aluminija na uspješnost recikliranja. Uzorci premaza pripremljeni su otapanjem PLC-a u etil-acetatu, a umješavanje nanočestica provedeno je homogenizatorom. Kartoni različite gramature (230g/m2, 280g/m2, 350g/m2) otisnuti su ofsetnim tiskom, a potom premazani ispitivanim PCL i PCL nanokompozitnim premazima. Recikliranje je provedeno u laboratorijskim uvjetima koristeći INGEDE 11 metodu, a dobiveni laboratorijski listovi karakterizirani su određivanjem optičkih svojstava te sustavom slikovne analize.

Abstract in english: For the waste paper and cardboard packaging, recycling is one of the most desirable options when it comes to their disposal in order to reduce their environmental impact. Therefore, with developing new packaging materials, apart from their promiscuous properties, it is necessary to examine their environmental impact. Biodegradable polymers increasingly find their application in packaging due to lower harmful environmental effects compared to synthetic polymers. But sometimes their mechanical properties are weaker than those of synthetic polymers. In order to improve the mechanical properties of biopolymers, nanoparticles are increasingly used recently. Therefore, the impact of different grammage of cardboard and cardboard coated with biodegradable polycaprolactone polymer coating (PCL) has been investigated. In addition, the influence of aluminium modified PCL coating on the recycling effiency was also investigated. The coating samples were prepared by dissolving PCL polymer in ethyl acetateby, and the nanoparticles by dispersing nanoparticles with disperser. Different grammages of cardboard (230 g / m2, 280 g / m2, 350 g / m2) were printed by offset and then coated with PCL and PCL nanocomposite coatings.
