Abstract

Abstract in english: | Photography has a remarkable value in people’s lives and journalists know that very well and of course using it in their own way. It’s the photography that attracts the attention of the reader and encourages him to keep reading the article. Without the photography the article looks uninteresting, empty and unimpressive and if the title isn’t enough attractive, the text won’t even be noted. Although usually a picture can say more than words, somestimes it can transmit the wrong message and therefore create a wrong image about events and people. For the media to gain a high percentage of people reading their news, the journalists need to react quickly and be the first ones to publish the news which will help them to gain more audience. Still, the way how thw media use photos and broadcast the news is often very problematic and ethically questionable. The editors demand for the content to be as interesting as it can be, they want something unique and extraordinary, a story that will shock the public and draw their attention. They want for their news to be broadcasted and read, whereas in that hole race for more audience, they often use sensationalist content and photos not considering that they have might caused damage to someone. |
