Abstract
U radu se daje povijesni pregled razvoja i korištenja video-igara, te uloga glazbe u korisničkom doživljaju. Teorijski se obrađuje važnost zvučnih signala na doživljaj vizualnih sadržaja. S obzirom na neka istraživanja prema Marku Grimshawu: Game sound tehnology, negiraju velik utjecaj glazbe, kroz ovo se ispituje utemeljenost te tvrdnje. U istraživačkom dijelu rada ispitanici koriste dvije inačice igre, jedna varijanta bez zvuka, druga sa zvukom, te nakon korištenja igre daju odgovore o svom doživljaju igrice. Usporedbom odgovora ispitanika dvije skupine utvrđuje se postoji li utjecaj glazbe na doživljaj kod korisnika.

| Abstract in english: | This work provides a historical overview of the development and use of video games, and the role of music in the playing experience. The theoretical part discusses the importance of audio signals for the experience of visual content. Since previous work by Mark Grimshaw: Game sound technology, negates that music has significant impact, this study will examine the validity of that statement. In the exploratory part of this work the subjects play two versions of a game, one without sound and the other with sound, and then after playing they are asked to fill out a questionnaire about their experience. By comparing the results of the two groups, it is determined whether music has an impact on the players impressions. |
