Abstract

U ovom diplomskom radu provedena je usporedba rendera 3D modela iz dva softvera, a to su Blender i Autodesk 3D Studio Max. Postupak se temeljio na 3D modelu interijera. Kroz teorijski dio rada ukratko je definirano 3D modeliranje, Blender i 3Ds Max kao softveri za 3D modeliranje te je rečeno nešto o njihovim mogućnostima. Kroz kratka objašnjenja, definirana su i korisnička sučelja oba softvera te je ukratko opisan industrijski stil u kojem je napravljen dizajn interijera. U eksperimentalnom dijelu rada provedena je usporedba dva 3D modela interijera s različitim uvjetima osvjetljenja, prirodno i umjetno. Opisan je postupak modeliranja namještaja u programu Blender. Ukratko su opisani postupci primjene tekstura i materijala te konačan postupak renderiranja nakon modeliranja. Definiran je postupak uvoza datoteka iz Blendera u 3Ds Max i njihov postupak renderiranja. Sama usporedba oba rendera provedena je uspoređivanjem prednosti i nedostataka dobivenih rezultata iz renderera navedenih programa.

Abstract in english: This master's thesis is based upon render comparison of 3D interior design models in 2 softwares, Blender and Autodesk 3D Studio Max. A theoretical part defines 3D modeling, Blender and 3Ds Max as softwares for 3D modeling andf their possibilities. User interface of both softwares is described shortly as well as industrial style in interior design that was used for this model. An experimental part compares two 3D models with different lighting conditions, natural and artificial light source. Furniture modeling process, texture application, material application and rendering in Blender are also described. Import of files from Blender to 3Ds Max and rendering proces sin 3Ds Max are defined. Finally, both renders are compared and their pros and cons are described.
