Abstract
Moderne grafičke tehnologije napreduju iz generacije u generaciju i upravo jedna od tih brzorastućih grafičkih tehnologija je i UV lak tehnologija. U ovom završnom radu biti će razjašnjene trenutne tehničko tehnološke karakteristike strojeva za UV lak na primjeru UV lak stroja JetVarnish 3DS i naznačene prednosti i mane aplikacije UV lak tehnologije na različitim tiskovnim površinama. UV lak tehnologija je jako mlada tehnologija s puno potencijalnih novih aplikacija na raznovrsne površine. Trodimenzionalnost otiska koju proizvod dobiva aplikacijom UV lak tehnologije na nekoj površini je teško, pa čak i skoro nemoguće ostvariti primjenom drugih tiskarskih tehnika. Iz tog razloga UV lak tehnologija je jedna od tranzicijska tehnika kojom se grafičke usluge translatiraju iz 2D svijeta u 3D svijet. UV lak tehnologijom se osim raznovrsnih 3D tekstura na nekom proizvodu može ostvariti i Brailleovo pismo što čini ovu tehniku iznimno važnom.

Abstract in english: | Modern graphic technologies are advancing from generation to generation and one of these fast-growing graphic technologies is UV varnish technology. In this final paper, the current technical and technological characteristics of UV varnish machines will be clarified on the example of UV varnish machine JetVarnish 3DS. Also, the advantages and disadvantages of applying UV varnish technology on different printing surfaces will be explained. UV varnish technology is a very young technique with great potential for further growth by expanding its availability on a wider variety of surfaces. Three dimensional properties of UV varnish are almost impossible to be copied by any of the standard printing techniques. Therefore, UV varnish technology is one of transitional techniques from which printing companies expand from 2D to 3D world. UV varnish can not only create a wide variety of 3D textures but it can also create Braille, which enforces the importance of this technique. |
