Abstract

Abstract in english: | Packaging is an important part of the marketing mix because it is the one that represents a particular product and acts as a key link between the market and the customer. The role of packaging is great when buying and choosing between the various products on offer. Packaging plays a big role from the very beginning and the moment of production of the product until the final consumption, because it is the one that takes care of it and that preserves its quality and originality. Packaging can have a big impact on the customer in choosing the product they will ultimately buy. It is a reflection of all the features and functions of a product offered on the market and with its originality and diversity attracts potential customers. This thesis will try to show the preferences of customers when using reusable packaging. One of the reasons why this is the topic of the thesis is the fact that waste today is a growing problem in environmental protection around the world, including the Republic of Croatia. Every man must have an obligation to protect the environment and to make it a way of life. Packaging waste and its share in the total waste is constantly growing day by day and has an increasingly harmful impact on the environment. Due to insufficient information of potential consumers, the share of packaging waste is accumulating more and more. In order to minimize the negative impact on the environment, a potential solution may lie in finding and designing new forms of packaging that will be more environmentally friendly and that can be used more than once, thus affecting the overall environmental protection. The aim of this final paper is to explore possibilities of reusable packaging and encourage product users to engage in its application. In addition, the goal is to encourage packaging designers to learn about completely new innovative ways of creating and creating reusable packaging with the help of 3D printers and to find a new foundation for the development of reusable packaging design. The research sought to find out about the tendency to use multiple packaging. The survey was conducted through an anonymous questionnaire on a sample of 79 respondents. The results of the survey showed that 73.95% of the respondents stated that the appearance of packaging was important to them, while 73.95% indicated that their characteristics areimportant and close to appearance. Also, the vast majority of respondents are ready to allocate additional money so that they can reuse the packaging and 91.14% said they used to buy the product just for packaging. From the above mentioned it can be concluded that the use of multipack is represented in the examinee and that this type is very important to them. In addition to the questionnaire, four types of models, the model of flushing, shadows, powder and carmine, tested using 3D printers, are presented in the experimental part of the paper. |
