Abstract

Upotreba računala u grafičkoj industriji svakim danom pokriva sve više procesa u proizvodnji. Danas prisutnost kompjutera nalazimo u svim fazama proizvodnje, od pripreme i izrade tiskovne forme, samog otiskivanja i kontrole kvalitete. Modernizacija uređaja dovodi do povećavanja kvalitete otisaka, velike efikasnosti kontrole procesa i znatnog smanjivanja dodatnih troškova proizvodnje (izrada filmova, potrošnja makulatura, smanjenje fizičkog djela rada i slično). Usporedbom gotovih otisaka, vizualnom i denzitometrijskom metodom mjerenja kontrolnih polja, pokazali smo prednosti i nedostatke pojedinih strojeva.

Abstract in english: Usage of the computer in graphic industry covers today most of the technology in offset production. The presence of the computers we can find now days in all phases o the production; from the preparation of the plate, printing itself and quality control. With the modernization of the equipment the quality of the print is increased, the efficacy of process control is better and the additional expenses of the production are decreased (film production, lower number of macula, lower participation of physical work and similar). Higher market demands and requests force small printing industries to upgrade their printing equipment, education of workers and increase quality. Due to this financial investment the printing industry sometimes has no choice. The purpose of this research is to point out the advantages and disadvantages of modern machines compared to conventional machines. As the representative of modern and automatic machines we chose KBA Rapida 105, four colored offset machine which is fully equipped with automatic units and computerized. On the other side we chose Heidelberg GTO 46 that is a typical representative of one color offset machine from early eighties of the last century. Comparing finished prints made by above-mentioned machines, by visual and densitometry methods of measuring control strips, we will show the advantages and disadvantages of each machine. For easier control of the printing quality we will use control strips and the same paper type with the colors of the same manufacturer. The measuring results are presented in tables and graphically for easier comparison.
