Abstract

U diplomskom je radu opisan fotografski rad jednog od najpoznatijih hrvatskih fotografa Toše Dapca. Dan je kratki životopis, a njegove fotografije su prikazane kroz pojedine stilove i teme njegova djelovanja. Težište analize je na periodu njegova djelovanja u takozvanoj zagrebačkoj školi. Njegove fotografije Zagreba pružaju nam uvid u razvoj hrvatske metrople i njenog građanina, od tridesetih godina dvadesetog stoljeća, pa sve do umjetnikove smrti. Prikazane su i fotografije ruralnih područja bivše Jugoslavije koje su od izuzetne dokumentarne, ali naravno i umjetničke vrijednosti. Tošo Dabac prati rad brojnih naših umjetnika posebice Antuna Augustinčića kojemu objavljuje i dvije monografije, što je također prikazano u ovom radu. U diplomskom je radu prikazan tek mali dio opusa Toše Dapca koji je za sobom ostavio tisuće fotografija pohranjenih u Arhivu Toše Dapca u Zagrebu.

Abstract in english:	In this final essay I described work of one of the most famous croatian photographers Tošo Dabac. I gave the short biography, and his photographies are presented through styles and themes of his activity. The course of analysis is on period of his work in so called „Zagreb school“. Through his photographies we can observe development of Croatian capitol city and its citizen, from the thirtieth years of twentieth century untill the Dabac death. The photographies of the rural territory of ex Yugoslavia are presented here and they have exceptional documentary and artistic value. Tošo Dabac is acquainted with the work of many of are artists, specialy Antun Augustinčić, and he publishes two monographies dedicated to him, which is also presented in this essay. In this final essay I presented only small piece of the work of Tošo Dabac which left thousandths photographies kept in the Archive of Tošo Dabac.
