Abstract

Abstract in english: Digital retouching includes all retouching techniques and methodes which reach way back to classic retouching, as well as those that are newly created with the use of specialised graphic software. These technics are being used in the process of restoring faded and damaged photographs, for tonal, exposure, and color correction and enhancement, in removing various damage and imperfections, but also in final portrait polishing for the use of fashion magazines. All of these issues can be fixed with a variety of more or less complex steps in digital retouching. Retouching enables us to display an image in its full glory and to carry out the sensation that the photographer perceives when taking a photo.
