Abstract

U diplomskom je radu opisan razvoj fotografije kao sredstva komunikacije i tehnika rada sa skrivenim fotografskim aparatom. Analiziran je rad Ericha Salomona – začetnika ove tehnike, zatim fotografija ilustriranih magazina, agencije Magnum kao pionira rada sa skrivenim fotografskim aparatom. Opisani su faktori koji olakšavaju snimanje skrivenih fotografija. Također su opisane različite tehnike rada: rad s hiperžarišnom duljinom, efekt dubinske oštrine, zamrzavanje pokreta, rad s raspoloživim svjetlom. Objašnjena su i posebna područja skrivene fotografije – paparazzo, tajna i ulična fotografija.

Abstract in english:	The theme of this paper is the development of photography as means of communication and the techniques used when working with a candid camera. The work of Erich Salomon, a pioneer in this technique, as well as photographs of illustrated magazines, and the work of Magnum agency, one of the first agencies to work with a candid camera, has been analyzed and discussed. Various factors which facilitate shooting with a candid camera have been described. Different techniques of work have also been discussed: working with hyperfocal distance, the depth of field, motion freezing, and working with disposable light. Special areas of candid photography have also been mentioned: paparazzi, secret photography, and street photography.
