Abstract

U uvodnom dijelu ovog diplomskog rada ukratko su navedeni vidovi novinske fotografije, njezini početci i razvoj. Nadalje su obrađeni motivi kojima se ona bavi kao i način na koji najčešće nastaje. Dodiruje se svijet novinskog fotografa, njegove motivacije, vještine kao i situacije u kojima novinska fotografija nastaje s osvrtom na snagu, učinak i tumačenje njezine poruke. Kao posljedica toga u završnom dijelu kroz nekoliko primjera navedeni su i opisani osnovni pristupi etici fotoreporterstva.

Abstract in english:	In the introduction the forms of newspaper photography, its beginnings and development are briefly examined. The paper continues with the examination of the motives governing this kind of photography as well as the most common ways of creating it. The world of a newspaper photographer is revealed through motivations, skills and situations necessary for the creation of the newspaper photograph, with an insight into its power, its effect and the interpretation of the messages it carries. As result, the basic forms of photojournalism ethics are described using examples in the final chapter.
