Abstract

Abstract in english: | Requirements of the market and the increasing competitiveness in the field of graphic production are increasingly dictating the quick delivery rate and the quality of the products. Today, the offset printing technique is the most represented in graphic production and with the technology continuously developing, the graphic product can be lead to a high level of quality. This thesis will mention some of the methods for determining the quality of offset printing, which were experimentally tested on offset print. The testing was carried out using a densitometer and spectrophotometer on 10 samples in the quantity of 5000 prints, where there were tests done on each 500 prints. The 500th, 1000th, 1500th, 2000th, 2500th, 3000th, 3500th, 4000th, 5000th prints were measured, of which the L*a*b* value and density of the shade of colours cyan, magenta, yellow and black were measured on three zones of print. From the obtained L*a*b* value, the colour difference (ΔE) was calculated, and from the received value of shade density, the deviation from the mean value was calculated. Standard deviation of one measurement and the standard deviation of the arithmetic mean were calculated from the obtained results and are displayed in a table. From the calculated results, the deviations and the quality of the tested samples were concluded, thus also the quality of the complete printing run. |
