Abstract

RFID je tehnologija koja se počela razvijati u zadnjih nekoliko godina te se koristi u sve većim razmjerima. Uvođenje RFID tehnologije je potaknuto potrebom praćenja proizvoda od njegovog izvora do krajnjeg potrošača. Standardni bar-kod identificira samo klasu artikla ali ne i jedinstveni artikal. RFID transponder, naprotiv, nosi serijski broj jedinstven samo za taj specifični proizvod. U ovom diplomskom radu istaknula sam sve bitne karkteristike RFID tehnologije kao i njegovih komponenti kao što su antena, transponder i čitač. Posebno sam obratila pozornost na tisak antena transpondera elektrovodljivim bojama koje omogućuju komunikaciju putem frekvencijskih radiovalova između transpondera i čitača. Također sam sam naglasila tehnike ostiskivanja antena te istaknula njihove prednosti i mane.

Abstract in english: RFID is a technology that had evolved in the past few years and is used in increasing proportions. The introduction of RFID technology is motivated by the need to monitor the product from its source to the end consumer. Standard bar code identifies only the class of product but not a single article. RFID transponder, on the other hand, carries a serial number unique for that specific product. In this graduation paper I have pointed out all the essential characteristics of RFID technology and its components such as antenna, tag and reader. I spoke with particular attention to the printing the antenna of the tag with electroconductive inks that enable communication via radio waves between the frequency transponders and readers. I also pointed out the antenna printing techniques pointing out their advantages and disadvantages.
