Abstract

HTML omogućava web dizajnerima da stvaraju strukturu ili kostur internet stranica. CSS je taj koji toj stukturi zadaje izgled i oblik a primjenjuje se direktno na određeni HTML putem selektora. Svaki selektor u CSS-u ima svoje svojstvo a svako svojstvo određenu vrijednost. Kombiniranje selektora, svojstava i vrijednosti mora biti ispravno prema standardima koji su prepisani. Web dizajner mora biti dobar poznavatelj CSS-a i HTML-a jer dizajn predloška buduće web stranice mnogo ovisi o mogućnostima CSS-a. Funkcionalnost, semantičnost, upotrebljivost, preglednost i jednostavost odlike su kvaliteto izrađene internet stranice a CSS je alat kojim se djelom, uz HTML, ustvaruju navedene osobine.

Abstract in english: HTML allows web designers to create a structure of web site. CSS is a tool which we use on stucture of HTML and which we use to form a design. It applies directly to the HTML by the selectors. Each selector in the CSS has its own property and each property has a certain value. Combining selectors, properties and values must be properly according to standards that are. Web designer should be well versed in CSS and HTML because design for every web site depends a lot on the CSS possibilities. Functionality, semantics, usability, visibility and simplicity are key features of quality web sites and CSS that work with HTML accomplishes these features.
