Abstract

Ovaj diplomski rad govori o relativno novom formatu datoteka koje su stvorene isključivo za upotrebu u grafičkoj industriji – JDF. Njihova je uloga objedniti segmente posla koji su do prije nastanka ovog formata bili odvojeni, a čija bi integracija u jednu cjelinu uvelike pomogla djelatnicima u grafičkoj industriji. Radi se dakako o procesima pripreme proizvodnje, tiska i dorade. Koncept JDF-a predstavljen je na Seybold konferecniji 2000. godine od strane tri korporacije - Adobe, Heidelberg i MAN Roland, a ideja prilkom osmišljavanja bila je stvaranje standardiziranog formata neovisnog o pojedinim proizovđačima, a koji će istovremeno biti sveobuhvatan i prilagodljiv. Ovaj završni rad obuhvaća dio specifikacije JDF-a koji uključuje njegove glavne značajke, te govori o tome na što treba obratiti pozornost kod implementacije.

Abstract in english:	This diploma thesis is about relatively new file format which was developed strictly for use in graphic industry - JDF. Its task was to unify segments of a work flow which were partially divided before its development and which integration in one whole would make a great use to employees in graphic industry. These segments are of course, prepress, press and postpress. Concept of JDF was introduced on a Seybold conference in year 2000. from three corporations - Adobe, Heidelberg and MAN Roland and idea of it was to develop a standardized file format which will be independent of various manufacturers, but that is at the same time versatile and adaptable. This thesis also includes part of JDF specification with its main attributes as well as part which says what should be taken care of while implementing JDF into a work flow.
