Abstract

Na grafičkim proizvodima često su prisutni pismovni oblici koji se koriste u krive svrhe ili na neprikladan način. Upravo takav pristup tipografiji šalje krivu poruku krajnjem promatraču. Svrha ovog rada bila je olakšati pronalazak odgovarajućeg pismovnog oblika uz grafički element. Analizom grafičkog elementa (s obzirom na vizualni, povijesni i emocionalni aspekt) dodijeljen je odgovarajući pismovni oblik. Odabir odgovarajuće tipografije za dizajn ne znači pregledati pismovne oblike instalirane na računalu i odabrati zanimljiv, nego promišljeno i sustavno slušati što poruka govori, što teba govoriti promatraču te na koji način.

Abstract in english:	Typefaces on the graphic products are often used in a wrong way or in inappropriate manner. That kind of approach towards typography sends the wrong message to the recipient. The purpose of this study was to ease the way of finding the appropriate typeface according to specific graphic element. The analysis of graphic elements (considering the visual, historical and emotional aspects) results in assignation of an appropriate typeface. Choosing the appropriate typeface for design does not mean to review installed fonts on your computer and select the interesting ones, but prudently and systematically listen to what the message says, what should it say to recipient of the message and in which way.
