Abstract

Novinska je fotografija balans između mnoštva teorije koje fotoreporter mora biti svjestan u svakom trenutku i prakse kojom dolazi do sitnih spoznaja i detalja koji fotografiju i fotoreportera usavršavaju i izdvajaju iz prosjeka. No, za razliku od drugih žanrova ove umjetnosti, kod novinske fotografije je ipak najbitnije - vrijeme. Kako novine imaju svoje rokove, a sama novinska fotografija nije u tom poslu neovisna cjelina, tako i fotoreporteri imaju kratke rokove da zadovolje teme urednika. Kompozicija fotografije, vrsta svjetla i objektiva koja se na određenom zadatku upotrijebila i druge slične stvari koje se koriste prilikom samog čina fotografiranja bitne su za dobivanje kvalitetnijih novinskih fotografija koje će lakše zapeti za oko čitatelju, privući njegovu pažnju i interes, a samim time i veći interes za tekst koji te fotografije prate. Činjenica je da čitatelji najprije zapažaju fotografije u novinama, a zatim sam tekst. Novinska fotografija oživljava i osvježava tiskanu informaciju, dok uz nju ponekad nije ni potreban tekst.

Abstract in english:	News photography is a balance between a multitude of theories that photographer must be aware at all times and practice which leads to the detection of small details that improve photography and photographers, and apart from the average. However, unlike other genres of art, the press photography is still the most important – time. As newspapers have their own deadlines, and news photography is not alone in this business an independent entity, and photographers have short deadlines to meet the theme editor. The composition of photos, type of lights and lenses, which it used on a particular task and other similar items used in the very act of photographing it essential for getting the better of newspaper photographs that will easily get stuck around for the reader to draw his attention and interest, and thus higher interest in text and photographs follow. The fact is that readers first perceive pictures in the newspaper, and then the text itself. News photos revives and refreshes the printed information, and with it sometimes did not even need a text.
