Abstract

Cilj ovog diplomskog rada je pokazati značaj odabira kartonskih ambalažnih materijala i pakiranja u svrhu održavanja kvalitete prehrambenih proizvoda i njihovoj sigurnoj distribuciji do potrošača. Funkcija ambalaže je zaštita upakiranog prehrambenog proizvoda od vanjskih utjecaja, skladišno-transportna funkcija, prodajna i uporabna funkcija. Prema vrsti ambalaža može biti papirna i kartonska, a koriste se različite vrste papira i kartona. U odabiru papirnih i kartonskih materijala za pakiranje namirnica, treba uzeti u obzir brojne kriterije i propise. Možda najbitniji od njih je potencijalni učinak na kakvoću i sigurnost upakiranog proizvoda, a uvjetovan je migracijom tvari iz ambalaže na dodirnu površinu hrane.

Abstract in english:	The aim of this thesis is to demonstrate the importance of choosing cardboard packaging materials and packaging to maintain the quality of food and safe distribution to customers. The function of packages is to protect the food product from the outdoor influences, storage and transport handling, sales and utilisation function. Packages by type can be paper and paperboard packages and different kinds of paper and paperboard are used. In the selection of paper and paperboard packaging materials there are a number of criteria and regulations to be considered. Maybe the most important of all is the potential effect on the intrinsic quality and safety of the packaged product, due to migration from the packaging material to the food contact phase.
