Abstract

Subjektivna fotografija ističe važnost osobnog izražaja u fotografiji nad dokumentiranjem izgleda vanjskog svijeta. Termin “Subjektive Photographie” skovao je Otto Steiner krajem 1940 tih godina. U njegovu kontekstu subjektivno se odnosi na svjesnom odbacivanju tehničkih i estetičkih konvencija dobre fotografije. Subjektivna fotografija ističe osobni pogled i eksperimentalnu fotografiju nad dokumentarnim realizmom.

Abstract in english:	Subjective photography, broadly, photography undertaken for purposes of self-expression rather than to record the appearance of the external world. The term Subjektive Photographie, coined by Otto Steinert at the end of the 1940s. In this context, ‘subjective’ implied a willingness to ignore the technical and aesthetic conventions of the ‘good photograph’. Subjektive photography emphasized personal vision and experimental photography over documentary realism.
